Ricky Martin is set to guest star on
next week's episode of Glee.
In the episode, titled The Spanish
Teacher, Will Schuester (played by Matthew Morrison) introduces
McKinley High to David Martinez (Martin), whom he meets when he takes
a Spanish refresher course. Martinez goes on to become a potential
rival for Schuester's position.
In a promo for the episode, a male
announcer is heard saying, “Out with the old Spanish teacher, in
with guess who? Ricky Martin,” as Martin is seen rehearsing with

Martin signaled he was headed to Glee
in November when he tweeted: “I hear McKinley high has an opening
for a Spanish teacher … Maybe I'll apply. ;o).”
The Livin' La Vida Loca singer
is expected to perform a cover of LMFAO's Sexy and I Know It
on the episode.
The 40-year-old Martin continues to
deny persistent rumors that he's preparing to marry boyfriend Carlos
Gonzalez.
However, he did leave the door open to
the possibility in remarks to Latina
magazine: “We are not talking about it, we're not thinking about
it. But I'm so happy that in Europe we have the option. It's
amazing to think that we can say, 'I feel like it. I'm ready. Let's
go.'”
