Hours after Minnesota Rep. Michele
Bachmann was declared the winner of the Ames Straw Poll, singer Cher
suggested her husband Marcus Bachmann is gay.
Bachmann received 4,823 votes in the
presidential GOP poll, besting Texas Rep. Ron Paul by only 152 votes.
Former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty (2,293), former Pennsylvania
Senator Rick Santorum (1,627) and former Godfather's Pizza CEO Herman
Cain (1,456) rounded the top five vote-getters.
“On cover of Newsweek under M.
Bachmann's picture it said 'Queen of Rage,' but there's only 'One
Raging Queen' in her house! Not mine!” Cher messaged to her more
than 311,000 followers.
Moments later she added, “Its not
kind, &u know my feelings bout being Gay! No Excuse 4me, &
feel bad 4 him but look at the suicide in her district & look at
his job,” referring to allegations that the Christian family
clinics run by Marcus Bachmann attempt to “cure” gay people.
This is not the first time the
65-year-old singer has gone off on the Bachmanns.
“I WOULDN'T VOTE 4 YOUR GAY HATING,
BULLY LOVING, POSER CHRISTIAN ASS!” she tweeted earlier this month
after receiving literature from Bachmann's presidential campaign.
And nearly six weeks ago she also
suggested Marcus Bachmann is gay, “Boys I'm not kidding! I'm
listening 2 this >%~€¥^<<&&&& I'm
thinking GAYGAYGAYGAYGAYGAYGAYGAY Without Style!” and
in another she labeled the couple “hypocrites.”
