Denis O'Hare's gay vampire character on
the HBO vampire drama True Blood will return in season 4, and
he's pissed.
Last season, O'Hare's flamboyant
Russell Edgington, vampire king of Mississippi, was entombed in
concrete after he lost his partner of 700 years, Talbot, played by
Theo Alexander.

told 500 or so fans in Los Angeles on Saturday that the king is not
dead, Entertainment
Weekly reported.
“We specifically made the choice not
to kill him,” Ball said. “I don't know when but there are
definitely plans to bring him back.”
“He is gonna be pissed,” Ball
added.
Last month, O'Hare told The
Hollywood Reporter
that producers have already approached him with the idea.
“Someone discussed a possible idea
with me, which, of course, I can't tell you,” he said. “But it's
a very cool idea. It's not far fetched, but it's not something that
you would see coming.”
Also spilled on Saturday: Lafayette
(played by Nelsan Ellis) and his lover Jesus, played by Kevin
Alejandro whose character on the TNT crime drama Southland was
killed off this season, will remain together in the coming season.
True Blood returns on June 13.
