Allison Iraheta, who opened for Adam
Lambert's Glam Nation Tour, has joined guitarist Tommy Joe Ratliff in
posing for the NOH8 Campaign.
Iraheta, 18, competed against Lambert
during the eighth season of Fox's American Idol. She was the
fourth place finalist, while Lambert went on to become the show's
runner-up.
Twenty-nine-year-old Ratliff is
Lambert's bass guitarist.
The two musicians posed separately for
the NOH8 Campaign – which raises funds and awareness to defeat
California's gay marriage ban, Proposition 8 – with their mouths
duct taped and the campaign's familiar “NOH8” slogan written on
one cheek.
Ratliff
posed for his photo wearing a white t-shirt and dark purple eye
makeup.
In her photograph, Iraheta displays a
winged horse tattoo inked on her back.
Iraheta's photo is certain to raise
expectations that Lambert will be the next musician to join the
campaign.
Other famous faces involved in the NOH8
Campaign include: NCIS star Pauley
Perrette, actress Tori
Spelling and Cindy
McCain, wife of Arizona Senator John McCain, and their daughter
Meghan, a pro-gay Republican.
