Director
Rosser Goodman's Holding Trevor,
last year's gay film festival circuit romance favorite, is to have
its television premiere on cable channel here! Friday October 3rd.
Freshman writer
Brent Gorski also stars as the film's protagonist.
Trevor
(Brent Gorski, Nightshadows, Fast Times at Hero High)
is a twenty-something floundering telemarketer who has been taking
care of his on-again, off-again heroin-addicted boyfriend Darrell
since he was sixteen. But after another apparent overdose, Trevor
says he is ready to walk away.
His
friends – Jake (Jay Brenner, Shortbus)
a struggling gay musician whose promiscuous quests give rise to an
HIV bugaboo, and lonely fashion designer/roomie Andie – encourage
him to move past Darrell.
At the emergency
room, in walks opportunity in the form of hunky intern Ephram.
Trevor soon finds himself falling in love with Ephram, but something
seems to be holding him back.
Holding Trevor
is a gay look at generation blank's self-lacerating struggle to
reconcile bad indecisions of the past with the promise of the
future.
