During an appearance on British
broadcaster ITV to promote his latest album, The Original High,
out singer Adam Lambert was asked which British musical acts had
influenced him.
“I've always loved British rock
stars,” Lambert said in response to a viewer's question during an
appearance on Lorraine.
“You know, obviously Freddie
[Mercury] and Queen. Obviously, it's a given. Someone like David
Bowie, for example. I mean, him and Boy George,” he said.
“Not only are they musical influences
but style influences, as well. I mean, those two in particular,”
Lambert
said.
On working with British singer Robbie
Williams, Lambert said “it's totally a possibility.”
