WNBA players Brittney Griner and Glory
Johnson are engaged to marry.
Griner, who plays for the Phoenix
Mercury, posted a photo of herself proposing to Johnson on her
Instagram account.
“Last night was a night to remember.
I became the happiest woman on this Earth! (Almost pass out but when
that one word came out, I came back to life). Me and my baby
@missvol25 are in it for Life!” she messaged, along with an
engagement ring emoticon.
Johnson, who plays for the Tulsa Shock,
shared the news with her Instagram followers by posting a photo of
Griner lying in bed, an engagement ring on her shoulder.
“What I get to wake up to,” she
wrote, along with the emoticons monkey see no evil, love and
engagement ring.
Griner came out gay in April before
heading to the Phoenix Mercury.
