Christian conservative Bryan Fischer
has criticized Burger King's Proud Whopper as a marketing mistake.
On Friday, Fischer joined other
conservatives in condemning the Proud Whopper, a
limited time burger wrapped in a rainbow-themed paper which states
“We are all the same inside.”

Fischer told listeners that the
American Family Association (AFA) is thinking about issuing a
statement to alert the public, otherwise “this kind of nonsense”
is “going to be spreading across the entire fruited plain and
you're going to be going to your Burger King in Des Moines, Iowa and
you're going to have a rainbow-colored wrapper for your Whopper.”
“I think this is a marketing mistake.
I think this is a bonehead move from a marketing standpoint. 'Cause
I gotta guarantee you when people sit down to eat a hamburger, the
last thing they want to be thinking about is two guys having sex,”
he
