Amy Robach, Shepard Smith To Attend Gay Journalist Convention

ABC News anchor Amy Robach will host the National Lesbian & Gay Journalist Association's (NLGJA) 19^th annual gala.

The gathering will take place Thursday, March 20 at the Prince George Ballroom in New York City. Tickets can be purchased at the group's website.

Special guests scheduled to attend the event include Josh Barro (The New York Times), Jason Bellini (The Wall Street Journal), Bethenny Frankel (Bethenny), LZ Granderson (ESPN, CNN), Don Lemon (CNN), Thomas Roberts (MSNBC), Jenna Wolfe (NBC News), Noah Michelson (HuffPost Gay Voices) and Shepard Smith (Fox News).

ABC News is the event's presenting sponsor, while Fox News is a silver sponsor along with CBS News, Eli Lilly and Co. and Hillshire Farms. Ridesharing app Uber is a bronze sponsor.

While Smith has long ignored rumors that he might be gay, he's also endorsed gay rights on the air.
