English actress Camilla Luddington,
known for playing Dr. Jo Wison in the ABC medical drama Grey's
Anatomy, has joined the NOH8 Campaign.
“#CamilLuddington (#GreysAnatomy's
Dr. Jo Wilson) supports her #LGBT friends and fans!” the NOH8
Campaign wrote on its Facebook page on Thursday along with
Luddington's NOH8 photo.
The campaign which started as a protest
against passage of Proposition 8 has morphed into a more general LGBT
rights awareness campaign now that California's same-sex marriage ban
has been knocked down.
Celebrities and everyday folks are
photographed with their mouths duct taped and the campaign's familiar
“NOH8” slogan often written on one cheek.
Luddington, 29, also played Catherine
Middleton in the film William & Kate and provides the
voice of Lara Croft in the 2013 video game Tomb Raider.
