Rashida Jones is calling on John
Travolta to come out of the closet.
Several men, some of whom are masseurs,
have accused the 58-year-old Travolta of attempting to initiate sex
with them.
But even before the allegations
surfaced, Travolta was hounded by rumors that he is gay.
In an interview with
SpinningPlatters.com,
Jones (Parks and Recreation), who is currently pitching her
upcoming film Celeste and Jesse Forever, called on the Pulp
Fiction star to come forward.
“There needs to be, like, a
professional athlete that comes out,” Celeste and Jesse Forever
co-writer Will McCormack said.
“And a movie star!” said Jones.
“Like John Travolta? Come out! Come on. How many masseurs have
to come forward? Let's do it.”
“Big stars need to come out,” she
added. “Ricky Martin was huge. That was big; I was really happy
about that … People are so precious about their careers.”
