Sara Gilbert, a co-host of CBS' The Talk, and Glee writer Allison Adler have ended their 10-year relationship, PEOPLE.com reported.

Gilbert, 36, and Adler, 44, will share custody of their 2 children: six-year-old son Levi and four-year-old daughter Sawyer.

“It's completely amicable,” a rep for Gilbert told the magazine.

In a press release last year for The Talk, Gilbert decided to omit details of her personal life.

Gilbert addressed the omission during a Television Critics Association panel in Los Angeles, and added that talking about her personal life wasn't going to be easy.

“This is a whole new world for me,” she said. “I'm not an expert on this, or I don't analyze these things.”

Gilbert is best known for her portrayal of Darlene Conner-Healy on the ABC sitcom Roseanne, which starred comedian Roseanne Barr as her mother. Adler joined Glee after writing stints at the NBC sitcom Chuck and ABC's quickly canceled science fiction drama No Ordinary Family.

The Talk is currently on hiatus. The show will return for a second season in the fall.
