In an interview with gay glossy The Advocate, actress Rashida Jones jokes that Ricky Martin betrayed her when he came out gay. Martin announced he's gay in his memoir Me released last year.

The 35-year-old Jones, who co-hosted the Los Angeles GLAAD Media Awards with her Parks And Recreation co-star Amy Poehler, will play a lesbian lawyer opposite Zooey Deschanel in the upcoming film Our Idiot Brother, set to open in August.

“I took it pretty personally. I felt betrayed,” she told the magazine. “No, I was actually really happy, because I know it's incredibly difficult for a pop star to come out – especially as a Latino, a community where there can be a lot of homophoia. What he did was incredibly brave. But he's a hottie, and I like thinking he still wants to have sex with me.”

She added that knowing Martin is gay doesn't spoil the fantasy: “Oh, trust me, the fantasies are still there and not going away. You can fantasize about anyone, and the truth is that they're probably not thinking about you anyway. So, no, his coming out has not come between us.”
