A coalition of gay rights groups will run a transgender rights ad on the evening that Donald Trump is expected to accept the Republican nomination.

The 60-second ad will air on Fox News during Trump's speech, The New York Times reported.

North Carolina sparked a national discussion after it became the first state in the union to approve a law that restricts which public restroom a transgender person can use. Trump has vacillated on issue, stating in April that North Carolina “is paying a big price” for doing something “very strong” to more recently saying that he backs the state on the issue.

In the ad, Alaina Kupec, a transgender woman from North Carolina, is told by a restaurant employee to use the men's room.

“I can't go in there,” she tells the callous man before two women escort her into the ladies room.

“When businesses can legally force me to use the men's room, it puts me at risk for harassment and violence,” Kupec says. “Safety and privacy in bathrooms are important to all of us.”

The ad was created by the Movement Advancement Project, Freedom For All Americans, and Equality Ohio.
