New Barbie Commercial Breaks Boundaries With Addition Of Boy

A new commercial for the Moschino Barbie is breaking boundaries with its inclusion of a young boy.
Mattel's Moschino Barbie sold out within an hour of its launch last week. The $150 collector's dolls were designed by Jeremy Scott, the creative director of Moschino.
“Moschino Barbie sold out in less than an hour! Wow!” Scott shared on Instagram. “Barbie and I thank u for all the love!”
The dolls feature Moschino originals such as a slogan t-shirt (“The Most Moschino t-shirt ever”) and a gold-chained belt and high heels emblazoned with the word “Moschino.”
“Moschino Barbie is so fierce!” the boy says in the ad.
“I love you Moschino Barbie,” a girl declares.
The boy also answers a cell phone, then hands it to the doll. “It's for you, Moschino Barbie,” he says with a wink.
