Out rugby star Keegan Hirst is seen stripping down to his underwear in a behind-the-scenes video of his first Attitude cover shoot.

The 27-year-old Hirst, a father of two, came out in August, making him the first British Rugby League player to publicly announce he's gay.

He received the Editor's Special Award at the 2015 Attitude Awards and appeared on one of the covers for Attitude's Award issue.

He told Attitude that despite meeting celebrities such as Ian McKellen and hearing from Elton John, his life hasn't changed that much since coming out.

β€œI haven't really experimented,” Hirst said. β€œIt's not like I started going around the gay scene or anything. I still go out where I'd normally go. I have a couple mates that I got to know quite recently. But before I didn't know anybody who was gay. It was like going from one extreme to another. From zero to one hundred.”
