People attending Sunday's 2015 Pride Fest in Little Rock, Arkansas said that there was a lot to celebrate this year.
Hundreds of people participated in the annual parade that ended with a festival outside the Clinton Presidential Library.
“We're just celebrating!” John Willis told NBC affiliate KARK. “It's been a really big year for all of us.”
In June, the Supreme Court struck down gay marriage bans in all 50 states, stating that gay and lesbian couples have a constitutional right to marry. Arkansas was among the states directly affected by the high court's ruling.
“The marriage equality win was such a huge win for all of us but it's just the start,” Willis added.
Sunday's festival included live music, food vendors and informational booths.
