Appearing on HuffPost Live, Jennings explained she shares her story “so that I can help everyone understand that being transgender is normal, and that it's okay to be yourself.”
When asked to “sum up what it means to be transgender,” Jennings answered: “What it means to be transgender is loving yourself, because you can never fully be a proud transgender individual if you don't find the courage to love who you are no matter what.”
