A gay man received support on social media after coming out gay live on a radio broadcast.
Dominic phoned London-based talk and phone-in radio station LBC, where he told host Cristo Foufas he has “trouble thinking I do deserve love.”
“I feel guilty within myself,” he said.
“It seems like you're totally alone in a world where everyone else is different and you are the freak, you're the weirdo, and you're disgusting in a way,” he added.
Foufas praised Dominic for his bravery for telling his story live on air. Listeners also expressed support for Dominic.
“@LBC @cristo_radio in tears listening to this, well done young man,” Patricia (@PatriciaLargs) tweeted. “You are an inspiration.”
“Dominic is going to be a shining light to others listening,” wrote Mum's Hairy Chest (@MumsHairyChest), who said he was gay.
And H.A. Izzo (@Hassanizzo86) called the broadcast “life affirming.”
“I wish the last/current caller Dominic a world of happiness and love,” Izzo messaged.
