Michael Sam: '50/50' Chance He'll Sign With Alouettes Next Year

Montreal Alouettes general manager Jim Popp has put Michael Sam's chances of signing with the team next year at “50/50.”
“Jim Popp expects more discussions with agent for DL Michael Sam,” TSN Radio's Dave Naylor tweeted on Thursday. “'50/50' chance he will be in Montreal for 2015.”
Montreal has exclusive rights to sign him into the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Sam, the first openly gay player to be drafted by the NFL, was cut by the St. Louis Rams before the start of the season. He then joined the Cowboys' 10-man practice squad, where he stayed for seven weeks before being let go.
Last week, GQ named Sam one of its Men of 2014.
