In introducing Kylie Minogue at Saturday's 25th annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York City, Boy George declared that she put the “amp” in “camp.”

“Gay people absolutely love her,” the 52-year-old Boy George said.

“I have the pleasure of seeing her probably more times than any other artist, weirdly. I'm always in town when she's playing. I'm actually her official stalker.”

“So make some noise for long-time voice of LGBT equality, multi-award winning, chart topping, she put the 'amp' in 'camp' Kylie Minogue,” he added to cheers from the crowd.

Minogue returned the compliments, calling Boy George an “inspiration.”

“In fact, the first concert I ever went to in my hometown of Melbourne, Australia was to Culture Club. Yeah, I managed to kind of infuse about a thousand ribbons into my hair. Thought I was it. I was probably 14, and definitely not it,” Minogue told the crowd.

Before performing, Minogue said that acceptance of the LGBT community “was natural to me.” (The video is embedded on this page. Visit our video library for more videos.)
