Christian conservative Bryan Fischer on Tuesday lamented that America does not have a Russian-style law that prohibits the promotion of “gay propaganda” to minors.

Fischer voiced his support for the law – which has been widely criticized in the West – saying that it is “inexcusable” that the United States has not followed Russia's lead.

“Remember [Russian President Vladimir] Putin signed this law that prohibits children from being propagandized into homosexuality, from being indoctrinated, brainwashed into homosexuality. That's a policy we ought to have in the United States,” Fischer told his radio listeners.

“It's inexcusable that we allow vulnerable, innocent young children to be indoctrinated, brainwashed, propagandized into thinking that homosexual conduct is perfectly normal and absolutely benign behavior when it absolutely is not,” he added. Fischer has previously said that the law doesn't go far enough.
