Jonathan Groff, Frankie J. Alvarez and Murray Bartlett, the stars of the upcoming HBO drama 'Looking,' discuss the show from its set in a just released clip.

“Looking is about a group of gay friends living in modern day San Francisco, looking to connect, looking for love and living their lives,” Groff (Glee, Boss) says in the 90-second video.

“And not only are we exploring issues with love, but also within our careers and self motivation issues,” Frankie J. Alvarez (Smash) says.

“It sets up the three of us as friends, but then we each have our individual story lines,” adds Murray Bartlett (Guiding Light).

Creator and co-executive producer Michael Lannan says he wanted the show to “feel like we're just dropping in on the lives of these characters in progress.”

Looking director and co-executive producer Andrew Haigh (Weekend) adds: “It's about their friendships, their relationships, their work life. It's kind of embracing all the elements of their life.” (The video is embedded on this page. Visit our video library for more videos.)
