Canadian indie rock duo Tegan and Sara call on fans to support gay marriage in a new video released Thursday by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the nation's largest LGBT rights advocate.

“Hi, I'm Sara,” Sara starts to say in the 3-minute video.

“And I'm Tegan,” Tegan says.

“And we're Tegan and Sara,” Sara adds.

“And we support marriage equality and the Human Rights Campaign,” Tegan says.

“So join the fight for equality.”

“The foot? Or the fight?” Tegan asks.

“Please put your feet forward.”

“Get your feet into the fight,” Tegan jokes. (The video is embedded on this page. Visit our video library for more videos.)

Thirty-two-year-old identical twin sisters Tegan Rain Quin and Sara Keirsten Quin collectively make up Tegan and Sara. Both are openly gay and in long-term relationships.
