In a recent episode of a web series, Olympic diver Greg Louganis played a groom. Now, he's preparing to marry in real life.

According to PEOPLE.com, Louganis, 53, and partner Johnny Chaillot, 52, are engaged to marry.

“I finally met my soul mate – the more I fall in love with Johnny, the more I fall in love with myself,” Louganis told the magazine. “This is what the universe had in store for both of us.”

The men are planning to walk down the aisle in the fall.

Louganis, who won four Olympic gold medals in diving, is also openly HIV positive. Chaillot is a paralegal at Loeb & Loeb, a prestigious law firm in Los Angeles.

In the second season of Old Dogs & New Tricks, Louganis played a gay man getting hitched described as “West Hollywood's biggest whore in the 80s.”

More recently, Louganis starred as a coach on Splash, ABC's reality diving competition show.
