Husbands, the web series that looks at a newlywed gay male couple, is heading to CW Digital Studio, the television network's online platform.

CW Digital Studio launched less than a year ago with two shows: Comedy Stupid Hype and celebrity news program CelebTV.

According to Variety, Husbands will join CW's web offerings.

Husbands has been a critically-acclaimed, user-friendly YouTube series for two seasons, “ said Rick Haskins, executive vice president of marketing and digital programs at CW. “By bringing that to the CW, we hope to bring new fans over to the network and to CW broadcast shows as well.”

Premiering in 2011, Husbands stars out actors Sean Hemeon (True Blood) as Brady Kelly, an out professional baseball player, and newcomer Brad Bell as Cheeks, an out actor. In season one, the newly dating couple heads to Las Vegas to celebrate the recent passage of a gay marriage law and wake up the following morning in a drunken stupor to discover they are a married couple.

Alessandra Torresani (Caprica, American Horror Story) plays Haley, the best friend.

Husbands is written and executive produced by Jane Espenson, whose credits include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Caprica and the latest season of Torchwood.
