Massachusetts Rep. Barney Frank may be retiring from Congress but he's not leaving the spotlight.
The 72-year-old Frank has the distinction of being the first openly gay member of Congress and the first to enter a marriage with a member of the same sex.
According to the AP, Frank is lining up job offers left and right. He'll become a paid fixture on cable television, the lecture circuit and in bookstores. Frank has already prepared two book proposals.

“I'm hoping to get paid well to do what I do now for nothing,” Frank said.
He also hopes to teach at Harvard University and Harvard Law School next fall.
And he's headed to Broadway in February. Frank will perform a walk-on part in Fiorello!, a musical based on the life of former New York City Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia.
Television and movies may follow.
“I had a request to do a cameo on a network TV show, but I didn't like the script. So, if they won't change it, I won't do it. It was kind of demeaning to politicians,” he said.
