Cyndi Lauper, Chelsea Handler, Jane Lynch, Idina Menzel and Alan Cumming are among the celebrities who have designed a t-shirt for the Give a Damn campaign.
Lauper's Give a Damn campaign raises awareness and funds to fight homophobia.
Late night talk show host Handler designed two t-shirts. One says, “LOVE, EQUALITY, AND PENETRATION FOR ALL.”
The second t-shirt is a nod to her 2008 collection of humorous essays titled Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea.”
On a black backdrop, the t-shirt reads: “ARE YOU THERE, GAY RIGHTS? IT'S ME, CHELSEA.”
Cumming's t-shirt includes a doodle of himself along with the caption, “You don't need to BE straight to THINK straight.”
Lynch designed a t-shirt which includes a stick figure drawing of a two-mom family under the caption, “WE ARE FAMILY.”
“EQUALITY, TIME FOR IT TO BECOME A REALITY,” states Lauper's t-shirt.
Menzel's t-shirt strikes out “gra” from the word “gravity” to say “defy negati-vity,” a reference to the Broadway production of Wicked. Menzel won a Tony Award for originating the role of Elphaba in the production.
Each t-shirt costs $34.99 and can be purchased at the non-profit's website.
