Vinny Guadagnino of MTV's Jersey Shore has said he's helping troubled gay teens because seeing them kill themselves is heartbreaking.

Guadagnino and culture-fashion glossy BlackBook's Victor Ozols sampled winter season cocktails at Manhattan's upscale Whiskey Park in the latest issue of the magazine.

“Kids are getting bullied to the point where they're killing themselves, and it breaks my heart,” Guadagnino said. “I realize that I have a big voice, so I'm doing what I can to help.”

The 24-year-old Guadagnino also recorded a video in October on the subject.

“Now if you've ever seen our show, you know that things can get a little wild at the shore. But no matter how out-of-hand things get, you'll never see us making fun of somebody for who they are or who they choose to love. Especially if they are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender.”

“If there is anyone I hate on, it's a bully,” he added in the 60-second clip. (The video is embedded in the right panel of this page. Visit our video library for more videos.)
