Fox News correspondent Todd Starnes has
joined other Christian conservatives in criticizing President Barack
Obama for signing an executive order barring contractors doing
business with the federal government from discriminating on the basis
of sexual orientation and gender identity.

Like other conservatives, Starnes
accused the president of “bullying religious groups that hold
viewpoints it deems inappropriate.”
“The Obama administration seems
hell-bent on forcing Christians to assimilate to the militant LGBT
agenda,” Starnes said in a
FoxNews.com post. “Resistance is futile.”
EqualityMatters.com's Carlos Manza
responded:
“Starnes' fear-mongering about the executive order's lack of
religious exemptions grossly mischaracterizes the scope of the
directive, which merely extends existing non-discrimination
protections to include LGBT employees of federal contracts.”
