Rocker Adam Lambert on Wednesday filled
in as a guest judge at the weekly competition of So You Think You
Can Drag.
Paige Turner's amateur drag competition
takes place each Wednesday for seven weeks at New York City's New
World Stages.
Lambert gracefully filled in at the
last minute for Patina Miller, who accepted an eleventh hour
invitation to appear on the Wendy Williams Show. Miller is
best known for originating the role of disco diva hopeful Deloris Van
Cartier in the Broadway production of Sister Act the Musical.
In a video posted by New York City gay
glossy Next Magazine, Lambert is seen giving contestant Sister
Mary Helen the lowest score out of the three judges. (The video is
embedded in the right panel of this page.)
Lambert also made a cameo appearance
last year on RuPaul's Drag Race, which airs on all-gay cabler
Logo, and he joined Raja as he celebrated being crowned season 3
winner.
America's newest drag diva is also
Lambert's make-up artist. At the start of the season, Lambert
predicted Raja would be the queen to beat.
“You are the top drag queen!” he
told Raja. “Those bitches better watch out.”
