Evan Rachel Wood, a co-star of the HBO
supernatural drama True Blood and the George Clooney political
drama Ides of March, says Ides co-star Marisa Tomei
isn't her type.
Wood came out bisexual in April during
an interview with Esquire, in which she said she wanted to
marry her Mildred Pierce co-star Kate Winslet and added, in
reference to her on-again, off-again relationship with rock star
Marilyn Manson, that she's “into androgyny in general.”
In comments made to men's fashion
glossy GQ,
Wood reiterated that she's bisexual.
“Was that a one-girl thing?” the
magazine asked.
“No, that's for real,” Wood
answered. “I've been that way since I can remember. I remember
growing up and loving when I knew there was a girl like me who I
looked up to. I figured I should return the favor. You don't have
to be ashamed.”
And when asked if Marisa Tomei was her
type, the 24-year-old Wood answered with a laugh: “Um, I mean,
she's beautiful. I don't know. I don't think so.”
