Talk show host Rosie O'Donnell says
she's in love.
The forty-nine-year-old actor-comedian
told PEOPLE
that she's head over heels in love with I.T headhunter Michelle
Rounds, 40.
“I did not expect it when I met her
at Starbucks,” O'Donnell said of their months-old relationship.
“She didn't look like any lesbian I'd
ever met,” she added. “But it's fun and very exciting.”
O'Donnell returns to television on
Monday with a new nightly talk show on Oprah Winfrey's OWN cable
network. The Rosie Show marks O'Donnell's long-anticipated
return to television.
In March, O'Donnell, who came out gay
in 2002 and shares 4 children with ex-wife Kelli Carpenter, told
shock jock Howard Stern that she and girlfriend Tracy
Kachtick-Anders, an artist who is raising six children, had not
split.
“We didn't really break up,”
O'Donnell said. “She just has six kids … and I have four. It's
insanity.”
Previously, O'Donnell had referred to
her relationship with Kachtick-Anders as the Gay-dy Bunch: “Tracy
has six kids, she lives next door … It's a lot! We're the Gay-dy
Bunch! It's a challenge, but when you fall in love with someone,
they come with a whole bunch of things, including children.”
