Sixteen-year-old Sarah's second single Okay has topped the Danish charts at number two after less than three weeks.

Sarah, born Sarah Skaalum Jorgensen, won the Danish talent reality series The X Factor in March at the age of 15, becoming the first out lesbian to win any X Factor competition. She won over the judges singing a rendition of Lady Gaga's Poker Face, except instead of getting “him hot to show what she's got,” Sarah altered to lyrics to show another woman.

Sarah's sexuality is almost a non-issue in open-minded Denmark, a stark contrast to similar programs in the United States which feel the need to keep gay contestants in the closet. However, this year on the NBC reality contest The Voice four openly gay contestants and two, Vicci Martinez and Beverly McClellan, reached the final four.

In Okay, which is off the album Hjerteskudan (Heart Shot), Sarah sings of teenage angst but confides in the end that she's okay. (The video to the single Okay is embedded in the right panel of this page.)
