Radio show host Stephanie Miller has
promised to french kiss Fred Karger if he appears at a GOP debate and
blasts Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann with Lady Gaga's gay anthem
Born This Way.
During his appearance on The
Stephanie Miller Show's Thursday broadcast, Miller pleaded with
America's first openly gay presidential candidate to “come home to
the Democratic Party.”
“All I'm saying is come home, Fred,
come home to the Democratic Party,” Miller said. “For God's sake
stop this now. Stop spinning on your back and come home.”
Karger reminded Miller that repeal of
“Don't Ask, Don't Tell” wouldn't have cleared the Senate without
the help of Republicans.
“We would not have repeal of 'Don't
Ask, Don't Tell' if it weren't for eight courageous Republican
Senators and fifteen who overrode [House Speaker John] Boehner,”
Karger responded. “So, I'm not giving up. I'm 61. I've been
fighting this party my whole life. I'm not giving up now.”
When Karger, who
has filed a complaint against Fox News for not including him in the
Ames, Iowa debate, said he was running for president to show
young gay people that they can do anything, Miller promised to french
kiss Karger if he appeared at a GOP debate and jabbed Bachmann.
“God, Fred, I am so hoping and
praying that you get in that next debate and I swear to God that if
you bring a boom-box and turn on baby I was Born This Way and just
wave [inaudible] in front of Michele Bachmann, I will french kiss
you.” (The audio is embedded in the right panel of this page.)
