Comedian Andy Dick on Friday pleaded
not guilty to charges he groped two men, Reuters reported.
Dick is accused of grabbing the
crotches of a security guard and another man at a Huntington, West
Virginia bar in January of last year. According to several reports,
Dick appeared to be very drunk and also attempted to kiss the men.
The NewsRadio co-star pleaded
not guilty to two counts of sexual abuse before a Cabell County
judge. Each charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in
prison. After Dick pleaded not guilty, Judge Paul Ferrell set a trial
date of January 17, 2012.
The episode is the latest in a string
of legal troubles for the openly bisexual comic.
In 2008, Dick pleaded guilty to
marijuana possession and misdemeanor battery charges stemming from an
incident in which he allegedly pulled down a 17-year-old girl's tank
top and bra in Murrieta, California.
In January, he was thrown out of the
annual adult movie awards ceremony for stalking and groping actress
Tera Patrick and gay porn director Chi Chi LaRue.
