Actress Emma Stone quickly answers that
Mad Men co-star Christina Hendricks is her girl crush when
asked by gay glossy The Advocate.
“Christina Hendricks,” Stone says.
“It's a no-brainer. Everything about her does it for me. That's
my kind of woman.”
(Related: Christina Hendricks hit on by
gay men, women.)
The 22-year-old beauty went on to
become a hot property in Hollywood following her 2007 feature film
debut in the comedy Superbad. She
appears in no less than three films this year: The Help,
Friends with Benefits
and Crazy, Stupid, Love.
While
Stone says she prefers not to answer questions about her personal
life, she doesn't rule out dating women.
“No,
I don't have a girlfriend,” she says. “But who knows? You love
who you love.”
And in
talking about her tomboy quality, she adds that she's drawn to
strong, independent women: “The tomboy quality is probably
coincidental just due to the fact that my voice hits male octaves
most of the time. I don't really think about it – I just respond
to what I read – but I must be subconsciously drawn to women who,
even if they don't necessarily have their shit together, are secure
within themselves and don't need a man to fix them.”
