Jayson Blair, who plays closeted gay
teen Max on MTV's The Hard Times of RJ Berger, has a crush on
actor James Franco.
During the show's second season finale,
all-American jock Max, who endlessly bullies RJ, was caught making
out with another male student, making him the second closeted jock
bully on television after Max Adler's Dave Karofsky on the Fox
musical-comedy Glee.
In
an interview with gay glossy Out, Blair talked about his
character's sexual orientation.
“I had no idea that was coming and
when I saw it in the script I was like, 'Holy shit,'” Blair said.
“And then I was like, 'Ok, cool.'”
Blair added his approach to being gay
is, “Yeah, I get down with dudes. What the fuck are you gonna do
about it?”
And he added that he has a crush on
actor James Franco, who played gay in the film Milk.
“I'd totally Milk-out and go
James Franco in a minute, if I had a choice,” he answered when
asked whom he would like to see play his onscreen boyfriend.
