Actress Lindsay Lohan has posed for the NOH8 Campaign, which raises awareness and funds for gay rights causes, including ending California's 2008 voter-approved gay marriage ban, Proposition 8.

The 24-year-old Lohan is best known for appearing in The Parent Trap, Freaky Friday, Mean Girls and Herbie: Fully Loaded.

The NOH8 Campaign, which is helmed by photographer-activist Adam Bouska and his partner Jeff Parshley, photographs celebrities and everyday folks with their mouths duct taped and the campaign's familiar “NOH8” slogan often written on one cheek.

In her photograph, Lohan is making the peace sign while wearing a low-cut white t-shirt.

Two weeks ago, Lohan tweeted to her more than 2 million followers a short video of her NOH8 Campaign photo shoot. In the video, Lohan is seated on a red couch and says, “Hi this is Lindsay Lohan. Welcome to my video. I'm at my NOH8 shoot.” (The video is embedded in the right panel of this page.)

Other celebrities who have recently posed for the campaign include Miss USA Alyssa Campanella, R&B singer Mya, rapper Darryl “DMC” McDaniels and Spanish-American actress Charo.

The campaign received a huge boost in January when NCIS star Pauley Perrette wore a strapless dress that featured the NOH8 Campaign's logo to the People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles.
