Kerli To Perform At San Francisco Gay Pride

Estonian recording artist Kerli will perform at this weekend's San Francisco Gay Pride Parade and Festival.

The 24-year-old pop star will take to the festival's main stage on Sunday, June 26.

It is the second Gay Pride event for the Los Angeles-based Kerli this Pride season. She appeared at the Detroit Motor City Pride on June 4^th.

Kerli won an American Idol-style competition at the age of 14. She released her freshman studio album Love is Dead in 2008. This year's San Francisco Gay Pride Parade will be helmed by author-activist Chaz Bono, actress Olympia Dukakis and celebrity chef Yigit Pura, star of cabler Bravo's Top Chef: Just Desserts.

The annual parade, now in its 41^st year, is expected to attract hundreds of thousands of revelers as it winds its way down Market Street to the Civic Center, site of the annual festival.
