A new clip of Glee co-star
Darren Criss crooning in the middle of a GQ photo shoot is available
on the magazine's iPad app.
The 24-year-old Criss, who boarded the
hit series in its second season, just as creator Ryan Murphy began
amping up the show's gay quotient, plays out-and-proud Dalton Academy
Warblers lead vocalist Blaine Anderson on the musical-comedy.
On the show's season finale, Blaine
confessed his love for McKinley High student Kurt Hummel, played by
openly gay actor Chris Colfer.
In his GQ photo spread, Criss poses in
8 looks to liven up a summer wedding and says he's taking his
newfound success in stride: “It's all very relaxing.”
“You get a trailer on-set,” Criss
added. “You get treated really well.”
In a video available only on the iPad,
Criss is asked, “Do all pop songs have the same four chords?”
“That's something I've been saying
for years,” Criss responds, then breaks loose into a musical
amalgamation of Cee Lo Green's Forget You, La Roux's
Bulletproof and 4 Non Blondes' What's Going On. (A
sample clip is embedded in the right panel of this page, but the full
video is only
available on the iPad.)
