Television's hottest lesbian couples –
Glee's Naya Rivera and Heather Morris and Grey's Anatomy's
Sara Ramirez and Jessica Capshaw – top lesbian entertainment
website AfterEllen.com's
annual The Hot 100 poll.
None of the four women are gay, but all
four actresses portray lesbians on network television.
In the recent Glee episode
titled Sexy, Santana, played by Rivera, confessed to Brittany,
played by Morris, that she loves her. Brittany declared her love in
return but added that she was taken.
Fans are desperately hoping for some
answers on whether Brittany, who is no longer in a relationship, and
Santana will become an item on Tuesday night's season finale.
Ramirez's Callie Torres and Capshaw's
Arizona Robbins married this month on ABC's medical drama Grey's
Anatomy. On the episode, the women had a traditional wedding,
which was contrasted against the stripped-down marriage ceremony of a
straight couple.
In announcing Rivera's first-place
finish, the website declared: “Whether she's wowing us with her
vocals, or wooing us with her million-watt smile, or warming our
hearts with her commitment to Santana, or waxing poetic about the
LGBT community as host
of the GLAAD Media Awards, we just can't get enough.”
Here are the top ten women from the
list, all of whom are actresses: Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, Jessica
Capshaw, Sara Ramirez, Olivia Wilde, Amber Heard, Shay Mitchell,
Dianna Agron, Lily Loveless, and Lea Michele.
Heard
came out gay last year.
