Darren Criss, who plays the boyfriend
of Chris Colfer's character on the Fox musical-comedy hit Glee,
says it's all “rainbows and sunshine” for the TV couple.
Colfer's Kurt Hummel became
romantically involved with Dalton Academy Warbler's star Blaine
Anderson, played by Criss, after fleeing his McKinley High tormentor,
closeted football player Dave Karofsky, played by Max Adler.
On
last week's episode, Kurt returned to McKinley after making
amends with Karofsky, who promised he would organize a PFLAG chapter
at the school.
Separate schools, however, won't mean
the end of the choir boys' affair, at least not initially.
“You know we're in the honeymoon
phase right now,” Criss
told Entertainment Weekly. “They're together and I
think, you know, it's going to be rainbows and sunshine for quite a
while, and we'll see what happens in season 3.”
“[Creator] Ryan [Murphy] said if and
when they got together that he wanted it to be as flawed and as
delicate as anybody's relationship, so I think we'll run into that,
but we won't know until next season,” Criss added.
Criss made his comments at a New York
City reception for TIME 100 honorees. Colfer
is on this year's list.
