Rocker Adam Lambert attended the NewNowNext Awards on Thursday with his boyfriend, Finnish reality star Sauli Koskinen, and the pair sat next to Paula Abdul.

James Van Der Beek played host at the fourth annual show, which took place at the Avalon in Hollywood, California and premiered on all-gay cabler Logo on Monday, April 11.

At the show, Lambert introduced Robyn's musical performance.

In a behind-the-scenes interview conducted before the show, the 29-year-old American Idol season 8 runner-up said he was excited to sit next to Abdul, a former judge on the reality show, and talked about his love life.

“You might see me sitting with somebody,” Lambert teased.

“Is he here?” Michelle Collins asked.

“Yeah,” Lambert answered.

“Oh, that's so exciting because he's so cute. Is he from Finland?” she asked. “Yes,” Lambert answered.

“Now, you know, I love the Finnish,” Collins said.

When Lambert refused to answer whether Koskinen was a good “slalomer,” Collins asked, “Is that a dirty question?”

“It's like tea bagging in the snow, good to know,” she joked.

“Like frozen sploshing,” Lambert added. (The video is embedded in the right panel of this page.)
