Rosie O'Donnell has split from
girlfriend Tracy Kachtick-Anders, the
New York Post's Page Six reported.
The 48-year-old comedienne, talk show
host and actress confirmed last year that she was dating
Kachtick-Anders, an artist and mother of six.
“They have definitely split up,” a
rep for O'Donnell told the paper, “but it is very complicated
because their kids are very close.”
O'Donnell, who came out gay in 2002,
married Kelli Carpenter, a former Nickelodeon marketing executive, in
2004 in San Francisco, California. The two women share four
children. They split in October, 2009.
O'Donnell and Kachtick-Anders remain
next door neighbors in Nyack, New York and reportedly their families
continue to socialize together.
In September, O'Donnell, who is
planning a return to daytime television on Oprah Winfrey's OWN,
enthusiastically talked about her new love: “Tracy has six kids,
she lives next door … It's a lot! We're the Gay-dy Bunch! It's a
challenge, but when you fall in love with someone, they come with a
whole bunch of things, including children.”
She previously described
Kachtick-Anders as “almost too good to be true!” and a “lovely,
lovely, lovely person.”
