Rocker Adam Lambert is heading to the
UK's The X Factor if one fan's petition is successful.
The X Factor is Simon Cowell's
wildly successful reality-based talent contest.
“Sign this Twitition if you want to
see Adam on The X Factor,” reads
the online petition that is signed by using a user's Twitter account.
“Due to BBC radio 1 & 2 refusing
to play Adam's songs, and the lack of support that Sony have given
him in the UK, it is up to us fans to make a difference,” the
petition reads. “Signing this Twitition will be our first step in
getting Adam some Airplay and also we will get to see our Idol
perform on The X Factor and show off what a talent he is!”
Fans have been clamoring for the
American Idol season 8 runner-up to perform on The X
Factor's upcoming results show, and reunite with former American
Idol celebrity judge Cowell in the process.
