In an interview with celebrity glossy
People, singer Ricky Martin says he's in love.
Martin is returning to the limelight
after taking a break from his career to devote time to his twin boys,
Valentino and Matteo.
The Livin' la Vida Loca singer,
who came out gay on his website in March, is promoting his memoir
Me!, which is also available in Spanish, and an upcoming
studio album.
In an interview Tuesday on the Oprah
Winfrey Show, he
told Winfrey that holding his sons in his arms gave him the courage
to come out of the closet.
During an appearing on ABC's The
View on Wednesday, an
emotional Martin received a warm round of applause when he said he
loved gay teens.
And Martin this week told People
that he's in love.
“I'm in love,” Martin said, but
refused to identify his boyfriend. In a previous interview with the
Spanish version of People, Martin said he's involved with a
Puerto Rican man. The man, a childhood friend he recently became
reacquainted with, is an investment analyst. The couple will go
public “whenever he's ready,” Martin added.
The gay dad also said raising his
children is “the greatest joy imaginable.”
