ABC News has suggested that Danielle
Staub, the former one-fifth cast member of “bi”
cable network Bravo's The Real Housewives of New Jersey,
is in a relationship with openly lesbian singer Lori Michaels.
After Staub announced she would not be
returning next season to the hit reality show, ABC News' blog The
Frisky threw out show ideas for the reality star to pursue.
The post, titled 10
Show Ideas For Danielle Staub, Now That She's No Longer a 'Real
Housewife,' included at number 4 the suggestion that Staub
and Michaels are a lesbian couple.
“'My Two Moms.' Danielle and Lori
Michaels, as they raise Danielle's two daughters together. Or maybe
it's called 'The Real Staub Word' and is just about her new life in
general?”
While gay marriage is not legal in New
Jersey, gay and lesbian couples can enter a civil union.
Staub, a divorced mother of two, only
last week was unwilling to say she's gay. In an interview with gay
glossy Out, she hinted that she's a lesbian, but then quickly
retreated.
“Helen Keller can see … what Lori
and I are to each other,” she said, but then added: “I don't feel
it's necessary for me to have to confirm it or deny it. I'm a public
figure, and it doesn't mean that people have to get inside of that
right now. When I'm ready to talk about it, it will be my decision.”
Apparently, The Frisky, which
is published on ABCNews.com but not written by its staff,
isn't prepared to wait.
