Australian singer and gay icon Kylie Minogue will host the 100th episode of all-gay cabler Logo's NewNowNext PopLab.

The episode with Minogue as host of the up-and-coming party music show will premiere on Tuesday, August 3.

NewNowNext PopLab is the network's look at pop music relevant to the gay community.

The 42-year-old Minogue returns to the silver screen after nearly a decade's absence in the upcoming film Jack and Diane. Minogue was last seen in Director Baz Luhrman's musical Moulin Rouge.

Minogue will play a Tara, a heavily tattooed lesbian, in the film about two girls, Jack and Diane, who begin exploring their sexuality after meeting in New York City. Their newly awakened sexual desires give Diane werewolf-like visions. The film stars Juno Temple and Riley Keough, Elvis Presley's granddaughter.

Appearing last month at Madrid's giant gay pride parade, Minogue performed her single All the Lovers from her new album Aphrodite, which debuted on July 6 in the top 20 on the Billboard 200.

Past hosts of NewNowNext PopLab have included Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Beyonce, Adam Lambert, Lily Allen and MIKA.
