Senior officials of the Obama
administration will discuss its efforts to end HIV/AIDS on the eve of
World AIDS Day.
The Monday afternoon press event will
be broadcast live on the White House's website at
www.whitehouse.gov/live
at 2:30PM, the State Department announced.
The event will be headed by Secretary
of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Also attending will be Secretary of
Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius, Ambassador Eric P.
Goosby MD, U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator and Valerie Jarrett, Senior
Advisor and Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs
and Public Engagement. Jeffrey S. Crowley, director of the White
House Office of National AIDS Policy, will also participate.
World AIDS Day is Tuesday, December 1.
